It was a great opportunity to attend the release of “Korea and the Bay Area: Innovation, Investment, and Korea’s Strategic Partnership with Silicon Valley,” hosted by the Bay Area Council Economic Institute and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in San Francisco.

The program highlighted the strong and growing relationship between Korea and the Bay Area in technology, AI, semiconductors, investment, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

It was especially meaningful to hear from Consul General Jung-taek Lim, Bay Area Council CEO Libby Schaaf, Dr. Sean Randolph, and distinguished business and technology leaders about the opportunities ahead.

Great event, great conversations, and great food!

I hope this growing partnership goes beyond business and the Korean community itself. It can also create stronger connections with other communities throughout the Bay Area and open more opportunities for cultural exchange, friendship, and collaboration.

Strong economic partnerships can bring people and communities closer together.

이번 행사는 기술, AI, 반도체, 투자, 창업과 혁신 등 다양한 분야에서 한국과 샌프란시스코 베이 지역 간의 강력하고 지속적으로 성장하는 협력 관계를 다시 한번 확인할 수 있는 뜻깊은 자리였습니다.

임정택 주샌프란시스코 총영사, Libby Schaaf Bay Area Council CEO, Dr. Sean Randolph를 비롯해 비즈니스와 기술 분야의 여러 전문가들로부터 양 지역의 미래 협력 가능성과 새로운 기회에 대한 이야기를 들을 수 있어 더욱 의미가 있었습니다.
